I agree with what the guy in the video is doing by shaming the people taking pictures. If they are so interested in death that’s not the time and place to express their interest. I can get morbid curiosity. Hell, I don’t think there’s anything that bad about it, as long as you’re not disrespectful and you’re not getting in the way of emergency services. But what’s the point of filming? What would they do with the video? Show it to family and friends? Re-watch it in the evening?

I just can’t help but wonder what are they ever going to use that for in the future. It’s never a quality video or picture. In one call recently all it did was majorly upset a patient I was trying to calm down. Dude just had to video what we were doing and it made the whole call much worse. Asked him to stop and he wouldn’t. So thanks for making my job that much harder because you just need to show someone that police and fire were outside your apartment one time. Everybody has a cell phone. And everybody seems to want cheap internet points. Not everybody shies away from actually doing that.
