That’s the biggest thing for me. The Hobbit is a Nice Mechanic The Hardest Part Of My Job Is Being Nice To People Shirt book. It’s an imagination-stirring simple-but-thrilling adventure story for kids. But just as there are movies made for kids that adults can appreciate and enjoy too – Shrek comes to mind – the Hobbit is just as enthralling for adults as it is for children, and is all the better for it. I probably re-read the Hobbit once a year. The movies lost ALL of that tone when they turned it into a fantasy blockbuster extravaganza with everything an average moviegoer in the mid-2010’s desires in two and a half hours and nothing they don’t. I was extraordinarily disappointed leaving the theater after watching the first movie.

I didn’t bother seeing the second in theaters, and I still haven’t Nice Mechanic The Hardest Part Of My Job Is Being Nice To People Shirt the third one all the way through. The white orc being the main villain was garbage. Legolas being in the movie was beyond ridiculous and he looked WAY older. The goblins were an abomination smh, as well as the costume. The love triangle was where I just decided they truly did not give one fuck about the story. Bilbo who? Legolas being in it is like a short cameo when they’re in Mirkwood would have been fine, it even would have made sense since he was an Elven Prince who would have been living there at the time, but making him the main character.

And adding a dumb love triangle for the sake of Nice Mechanic The Hardest Part Of My Job Is Being Nice To People Shirt him in the movie was just ridiculous. I am a huge LOTR fan. I read The Hobbit twice and was so thrilled for the movies to come out. The first is the only movie to this day I’ve seen on opening night. I was so disappointed. It was way too animated and catered too much to younger kids in my opinion. I didn’t even bother with the second one. They just don’t feel like they are part of the LOTR universe that PJ perfected with the original trilogy of films. Desires in two and a half hours and nothing they don’t. I was extraordinarily disappointed leaving the theater after watching the first movie.
