I’ve read somewhere on here that if you buy more from a contractor warehouse it’s much higher quality than the sku’s at Home Depot/ Lowe’s. We bought replacements (fancier, extension hose and all that) Moen ones on Amazon and they’re all plastic and were not cheap. I was a bit surprised but the features are nice. Some things still are, but most people don’t want to pay extra for quality. Low-quality products have always been produced, but they don’t last so decades later they don’t exist anymore and only the good quality items are still around which makes people think that everything in the past was made to last longer.

Absolute shit products that were made in the past, it is growing increasingly hard to find long-lasting products at any price point. I’m working in Germany at the moment and I was quite impressed that the older German guy I’m working with has snips made in West Germany. Not that they have lasted this long, they are a quality make, more that he hasn’t lost his snips for over 30 years. I prob lose mine every couple of years or so. Let me call in my west German coffee maker expert. He says like new it would fetch for €20.00. Yours has some wear and tear on it, some faint discoloration on the labeling around the edges.
