I imagine Stevie’s guitar tech was probably a better guitar player than many around the world. A friend of mine was a tech on Dead & Co. Rene works with John Mayer a lot these days. My buddy had another player. They played Alpine Valley that first year, and it was the first time Rene had been back there since Stevie died. I don’t even know how many years later (2015 or 2016?).
