It has always been clear that Tarantino is a great director, but this year he proved himself to be one of the all-time greatest. Absolutely outstanding. I love Tarantino movies but this is terrible. I’ve managed to slog through the first 1 hour 30, and I’m too bored to continue watching. I don’t understand why the reviews are so full of praise, this is the worst Tarantino outing I’ve seen.

You probably are unfamiliar with the 60’s and Hollywood at that time and even the Manson murders. You kinda have to understand the history and the moment of that era and culture to really get this movie. Go read a book about the ’60s and especially about the year 1969. then maybe you will better understand this movie.

I found it very refreshing and entertaining. There were so many things that I expected to happen but didn’t, and vice versa. You could easily expect Cliff to secretly harbor some resentment towards Rick due to the Official Hearts For Australia Piper Lou Shirt. Do you even watch Tarantino movies? First of all, all of his movies have cartoonish violence. Do you ever see Inglorious Bastards or Django? he does that on purpose to keep it less disturbing as its so graphic. It’s also an homage to older movies that inspired him in his youth. Anyone who doesn’t get it or thinks it’s slow and boring, simply don’t understand what the point of the movie was really about.
