Halloween 1 and 2 are really just one large movie to me and John carpenter executed that Premium Rick And Morty Is This Jolly Enough Christmas Shirt. I loved 2 better but it would not have flowed without the foundation of 1. But goddamn that pipe organ theme really made me feel uncomfortable to a degree. Explains why the Halloween franchise is my absolute favorite last year I got to see him perform a bunch of his compositions after a showing of Prince of Darkness. It was so much fun. It’s a good theme. I’d say the music is usually the one consistently great thing across the series.

I love Halloween II’s theme a lot too, but the opening minute with that Premium Rick And Morty Is This Jolly Enough Christmas Shirts. They play the sounds to get the mental patients to play hockey and then all I think of is Bob and Doug McKenzie, which is not exactly spooky (well except for their movie they made that was like the Omega Man with Charlton Heston…beauty eh). I just love that 6/8 time signature. So urgent and uncomfortable you’re right, the time signature really helps in creating an uneasy vibe. It’s actually 5/4 time based on a rhythm pattern John Carpenter’s father taught him when he was a boy.
