Just take Hot Mpoy The Mandalorian Baby Yoda Shirt word for it that. The technology exists to print basically smooth parts, but it requires a HUGE sacrifice in time, money, and print time. At some point, you just have to accept that what you get is good enough. Sanding a little bit isn’t too bad of an option. It pretty much is (in terms of actual construction materials, at least), but it’s more than made up for by its very low cost (it’s basically fancy dirt) and extremely high workability (score, snap, mount) and repairability (same sound, but preceded by hollow sawing noises. Just so I am not going crazy. I assume this is a full-time lapse with the frames where the printer is doing its thing are removed? Cus this just fully appears out of nowhere!

It depends on the Hot Mpoy The Mandalorian Baby Yoda Shirt since. The material is sold by weight not length. 1kg of PLA goes for around $25 depending on color, manufacturer, finish, other stuff. Just guessing on weight, but probably maybe around 250g, so a little over $6 in material costs. The denser the infill, the heavier and more material it will take. It looks like your printer does the same thing mine does where it sometimes leaves a “seam” in an area. I’m guessing it happens when the extruded completes a layer and overprints slightly where it started on the layer, but I haven’t found a Cura setting to fix it, I just end up sanding it down manually. 3D printing nerd here.

This printer is using. A modified set of Hot Mpoy The Mandalorian Baby Yoda Shirt to move the head away from the print every time it finishes a layer. A picture is taken every time the head is moved away. This video is a timelapse of all of the pictures. I know how 3d printers technically work, but seeing a timelapse like this still makes me think that they’re some magic star trek thing. I’m not even in my 30s and I’m marveled at this technology. Maybe I’m just way out of the loop or something but the idea of 3D printing still blows my mind. Like is it just…normal already? Is it not some crazy sci-fi daydream? How are we in the future already. When did that happen? Where have I been for all of this?
