There’s a general theory that it was WuTang Clan The Sun Rises In The East Halloween Shirt in her head and she did all the killing, at least when considering the theatrical version (hence her wearing the mask when she walks out of the barn). I prefer the director’s cut in every way though, and its ending kinda kills that theory. I personally still think the PTSD, visions, and mental stuff in general works even if the mayhem was literal, but I like that it can all be viewed differently; Zombie’s works are more about being felt anyway. In all honesty, I wouldn’t even call RZH2 bottom tier with RZH1 + H5 around. It’s got major issues, but at least some vaguely interesting elements for me.

I’d be hard-pressed to WuTang Clan The Sun Rises In The East Halloween Shirt name anything remotely resembling redeeming qualities for RZH1/H5. Agreed with the overall sentiment, though. Resurrection is definitely bad, but, outside the opening scene (ugh) and leads (ugh), I don’t think it’s quite as shitty as something like H5 or RZH. Some of the characters were okay enough (Rudy and Jim) as were some of the kills. Those are admittedly huge negatives, and the movie as a whole is pretty mediocre and uninspiring, but it stays in the realm of “Watchable” for me (with a few exceptions). H5 and RZH were kinds of just excruciating for me from start to finish for me.
