I know I’m in the minority, but I completely disagree. How are Unicorn Karate She’s Beauty She’s Grace She’ll Kick You In The Face Shirt supposed to sit there and let your child wither away in the name of “trust”? Why do you think the therapist/doctor is any less right than you are? Are you a mental health practitioner? Honestly asking, because I have no idea why everyone is so worked up about losing a teen’s trust at the cost of her cardiovascular health. I get that it’s a complicated disorder, but she needs a living body to fix the mental issues, right? I truly think there are NAH.

Yeah, something very similar to this happened to me during my Unicorn Karate She’s Beauty She’s Grace She’ll Kick You In The Face Shirt “recovery” and you’re pretty much spot on about the effects. I have some really complicated feelings about this particular AITA because like. Obviously when it happened to me (as in OP’s situaton) it was coming from a place of love and worry, but in my case. My mother’s behaviour during that time really destroyed our relationship to a point that we were never able to recover from. It’s really no surprise that now that I’m recovered/an adult. My mother is no longer in my life, although admittedly I still sometimes have nightmares about it despite it happening so long ago.
