Man, I remember watching this fight and being so frustrated with the Pretty Three Snowman Merry Christmas Shirts. You gotta appreciate KZ for wanting to put on a show for the fans until the end (even though he was winning the fight) but damn he must’ve been so upset with himself for lunging in like that with only a few secs left. The more I look at it, the more it looks like an accident. Cerrone’s looks way more intentional. He literally attempted multiple of these and landed a few throughout the fight. He’s also completely loaded up to throw this specific elbow. The mental gymnastics surrounding this ko is almost as incredible as the ko itself.
