Yes, there are shitty Pretty Let It Snow Grinch And Max Christmas Shirt people just like. In any demographic category. But honest to god do you SEE what the right-wing political reality is and understand how fucking many people line up with it? How many of those folks are cops or lawyers or doctors or mechanics or judges or retail managers or landlords and how do you think that impacts the daily life of people who are living out and obviously queer lives? There are literally entire networks of schools and businesses where queer people cannot be hired and will not be tolerated. So saying I’m proud to be trans and a lesbian isn’t me making that my identity; it’s me refusing to hide genuine parts of myself for the sake of others’ transphobia or homophobia. It isn’t saying I’m special. It’s saying I’m human and deserve basic respect and equal treatment as any cishet white dude.
Pretty Let It Snow Grinch And Max Christmas Shirt, Tank Top, V-neck, Ladies Tee For Men And Women
It was not long ago AT Pretty Let It Snow Grinch And Max Christmas Shirt that being gay. Even a white het male gay person of affluent background) was NOT ok in our culture. It is a reality of living memory for a LOT of us and we still hear and see and feel the reality of that because it is also a living memory for those who hate us and want to go back to that time — to “make America great again. In most states, you can still be legally fired or kicked out of your house/apartment JUST for being trans. A shit ton of kids is homeless because of transphobic or homophobic parents. It is still a legally viable defense in most states to say you murdered someone because you “panicked” when you found out they were LGBT. We literally have the current President asking the Supreme Court to authorize letting any business with any claim to religious feelings for the right to.
Official Pretty Let It Snow Grinch And Max Christmas Sweatshirt, Hoodie
You’re scared to be Pretty Let It Snow Grinch And Max Christmas Shirt bi because of how. You think others will react to you. As are other LGBT people you know. So, literally the same as it was 30 years ago. And yes, back then people blamed the “bad” LGBT people or the ones who behaved the “wrong” way, for ruining it for the “good” ones. You’re right, it’s not okay. But it’s not okay because of you, and the others agreeing with you in this thread. Live your own life, let others live theirs. If they think their sexuality or gender identity is important, it’s not your place to say otherwise, even if you don’t think yours is. By allowing this “reputation” you think others believe in to control you, all you’re doing is enabling bigots. Who absolutely does still exist in large numbers, even though. No one cares if you’re gay anymore” gets said ad nauseum.
