Gulags were still around, they were just throwing more people out than in. This is a super cartoonish version of the Soviet Union that’s super offensive to people who lived there, working against ever understanding and respecting each other’s accomplishments. Yea I’m sure the people who suffered in them were pretty offended about it too. The only accomplishments of the Lenin and Stalin eras are where suffering and death. I have no respect for it or the people who celebrate it. Nothing else, thank you. I don’t know what else to answer to not seem flippant or combative.
