I mean if you think about it, Star Wars was basically taking pages out of Heavy Metal and trying to do ’em justice with the Premium Bartender Bar 10 Da Bartender Shirt? I thought Theed looked a bit like Dinotopia but was still gorgeous. The rest of the locations in the PT’s never made an impression. But just think of some of the stock settings you could do for. We haven’t even explored all the possibilities for sky cities with Bespin. Underwater cities, planets with crazy properties that don’t feel like Earth, all manner of space habs, etc. The beautiful planet below, gargantuan spacewalks in orbit. Shipyards, docks, heavy industry and all the places for the workers to live. Now imagine all the shenanigans going on in a place like that.

I’d say watch Mando 3 and see what you think. I’m probably going to finish the series out because it’s not that big a Premium Bartender Bar 10 Da Bartender Shirt. I’ll still probably pirate RoS at some point to see how badly they buggered it up. But I’m kind of with you in incredulity. I was hoping for better but, after TFA, expected profitable banality, like the Pirates franchise or like Transformers. I didn’t expect them to create the kind of catastrophe that we’re seeing here. I just figured there’s be a few dozen of us grumpy fans in the corner while the masses went gaga, kind of like how the backlash of the PT was.

Literally, the ST reaction makes the PT seem well-received. I get what you mean about your fifth point. My first impression of the soundtrack was a Premium Bartender Bar 10 Da Bartender Shirt. It takes a bold new direction, with inspiration from many different forms of media, without having to rely on previous scores (think TLJ overkill on ‘Binary Sunset’). I particularly like the tidbits of 80’s synth wave they throw in there, which is NOT Star Wars at all but IS directly related to other forms of Sci-Fi that were popular around the time. Darker, grittier IPs like Terminator and Bladerunner come to mind, which I think is a great touch. It almost makes it feel more like Star Wars to me because of the time period it emulates.
