Here’s my personal favorite channel if you want to learn about candy making in short bursts. The change to the texture is very minimal in my opinion, but if you really wanted it you could just add lots of colors and not stretch it too much.

Are you exposed to the smells of candy all the time and if so does it make you sick of it and do you not want to eat it? I always thought that would happen if I worked in a candy factory or something like that a bakery… I worked at an Official I Bet My Soul Smells Like Honey Shirt when I was around 19. I am not an expert, but it looks like that candy has already been pulled a bit so that is a lightened color already probably, and with how short of a clip this is it doesn’t have much time to really change any more. I believe it has to do with the amount of dye added, but once again I am not an expert I just had a youtube video about this pop up in my recommended videos a while back. It also lightens the color, and is how you get white from uncolored toffee, pink from red, so on and so forth.
