What makes him so great is how amazing of a storyteller he is. Even outside of comedy, I imagine he would be amazing doing something like telling stories around a campfire. I couldn’t even begin to count the groans of all the pre-teens I heard when the B-52s came blaring over the Nice Tom Jones Signature 57th Anniversary 1963-2020 Thank You For The Memories shirt for the twelfth time in a row, but I sure as hell won’t forget it. Every time I listen/watch that bit, it makes me sad that so many people who have only seen that clip won’t appreciate the ‘dogs without horses’ line.
