I’ve been interested in Chomsky ever since I saw an interview of him conducted by Zack De La Rocha, I just have no idea where to start with him. Any advice? Manufacturing Consent is a major Chomsky title. He’s written a book that once you see the formula, you’ll see it repeated over and over in our media cycles. That was my first one too! I haven’t picked up any books yet, but he has great lectures on YouTube and Spotify has hours of material! Also, Anarcho-Syndicalism by Rudolph Rocker was apparently a big inspiration for him.

I’m flipped. Walking in the Snow gives me chills in those first two verses. Ju$t is so good too though. I think you’d like Run the Jewels, they have some guitar work and riff-like beats.

It’s not hard to make the jump from metalhead to hip-hop head, especially when you get into more lyrical rappers like Killer Mike. First of all, they cheated. Cause they, one of ’em black and the other one white. So if you don’t like ’em, you automatically racist. Fun fact, Killer Mike and El-P are also metalheads, they’re planning to tour with Rage Against the Machine too. The sad part is the “I can’t breathe” line was written well before Floyd’s murder.
