I got Hot Pinhead Merry Christmas Go Ahead Open Your Present Christmas Shirt in for jury duty. Was selected for a trial, sworn in as a judge. Had to miss a day of my brand new job. We’re basically at the end of the trial, just waiting for closing statements when the defense solicitor asks to speak to the judge. The jury is sent away. We basically were all about to find the guy guilty, literally, nobody questioned it. When we’re called back we get told that the State hadn’t technically proved that the defendant actually knew they were breaking the law because they didn’t take a picture of the back of a document. So the trial got thrown out. It was bizarre and so frustrating cause he definitely did it. Two days for me with a grand jury selection, and it wasn’t until the end of the second day that the judge finally got around to asking if not working for two or three months while serving on a grand jury would impose a hardship for anyone.
Hot Pinhead Merry Christmas Go Ahead Open Your Present Christmas Shirt, Tank Top, V-neck, Ladies Tee For Men And Women
Yup, I was at Hot Pinhead Merry Christmas Go Ahead Open Your Present Christmas Shirt duty for. 2 days and I still wasn’t even selected. I came back to work and people were asking. How the case was and I told them, don’t ask me to ask the jury that they finally selected. I think some people thought I made up having jury duty because of that. The only time I’ve had jury duty I was released in the first wave. It was he said/she said a thing and one of the lawyers asked me if I would be able to take either of them at just their word. Obviously I can’t. I don’t know these people. Every other time I’ve gotten jury summons I’ve been excused for. Something like being a student or being in the military. The latest one I was kind of excited about because I was unemployed, but… it was from the county I’d just moved out of. So I was automatically disqualified and just had to send them my new address.

A friend does tech support for a law firm and spends plenty of time on standby in courtrooms. He told me about the cross-examination of an expert where the attorneys he was working for called out the witness because they found out that his license in the field had lapsed a few years before. He said it was the most exciting thing he had seen in ages.
