Even if I didn’t have that going on, that scene would still fuck me up beyond belief. Solid acting; really cool/slightly unique cinematography for a horror film; lots of dark humor paired with sudden, jarring brutality. The Wicker Man is my favorite horror movie so personally I loved the updated take on folk religion as horror. I saw Hereditary as terrifying and Midsommar as horrifying, if that makes sense.
