I have super thick and curly hair and it used to be waist length when I was a child. I finally did what your daughter did and gave myself a cut because my mom wouldn’t take me. Thankfully my grandmother saw it and had my aunt take me to get it fixed. My hair has been spiky short, half a shaved head, bob cuts, rainbow-colored hair.
